 Frequently Asked Questions

Who is responsible for the service valve (also called a curb box)?
The service valve or curb box, typically located at the property line of a residence, is the point at which water service is turned on or off to your home.  CWSA is responsible for the service valve and the line that connects it into the public water distribution system.

Why is the trash collection fee included on my water and sewer bill?
The trash collection fee was added to the quarterly water and sewer bill to create billing efficiency by connecting several borough services into one bill.

Does CWSA accept pre-payments on quarterly bills?
Yes, CWSA accepts pre-payments in person or by mail.  Please be sure to include your account number, so the pre-payment can be applied to the proper account.
